St. Louis Campus Kansas City Campus Indianapolis Campus Champaign/Urbana Campus

St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf (SJI) is an independent,
Catholic early intervention and education program for hearing-
impaired and profoundly deaf children. Since 1837, SJI has
provided a nurturing environment for children and families
seeking an auditory-oral education, with primary emphasis
on audition, speech language and deaf education. Our
experienced faculty and staff address the individual needs
of each child through daily speech therapy and intensive
classroom experiences to facilitate the successful
mainstreaming of all students. The St. Louis campus also
offers residential and day education programs for children
from birth to eighth grade and complete
audiology services.
