As our program has grown and more of our children transition to
mainstream schools in their home communities, we are increasingly
called upon to help teachers and other professionals become more
effective in working with these students. We offer a variety of
services tailored to meet specific needs. Some school districts
and/or parents contract with us to provide individualized services
for a specific child. We work with others to develop and conduct
staff seminars and workshops. Regional workshops allow us to work
with several school districts in a geographic area to provide affordable
and accessible training in areas across the state. Working with
the Indiana School for the Deaf and the Indiana Department of Education,
we help to plan and host the annual Indiana State Conference for
Teachers of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
