Missouri Tax Credits
Make a donation of $2,000 or before March 31, 2005, take advantage
of available Missouri tax credits and your gift will be matched
dollar for dollar by the Oberkotter Foundation. This results in
a realized gift 7-1/2 times the size of your actual after-tax donation
or $14,900. In another example, your initial gift of $50,000 - which
only costs you $13,500 - results in a gift to the children of $100,000!
The Missouri House Development Corporation under the Affordable
Housing Assistance Program (AHAP), will allocate to you, Missouri
Tax Credits of $0.55 for each dollar of contribution. Using this
credit reduces your net after-tax cost of the contribution to approximately
$0.27 per dollar. To ensure your complete understanding of these
tax advantages, please consult your financial advisor.
Your gift to St. Joseph Institute makes it possible for deaf children
to listen, read and speak. Please be generous! For more information,
please contact the controller at SJI.
