       St. Joseph Institute for the Deaf Alumni Association (SJIAA)

 

 SJI encourages all alumni to become active in SJIAA. The alumni association offers support to the school and helps members keep in touch with each other and reconnect with old classmates.

 

What does SJIAA do? 

 

One of the principle goals of SJIAA is to create a spirit of family, cohesiveness and pride in SJI and in the association. SJIAA accomplishes this through:

  • SJIAA newsletters about upcoming events, activities within SJI, news from individual alumni, and the successes of the SJIAA members.
  • Holding a reunion every four years where alumni reconnect.
    •
  • Creating and scheduling fundraising events to provide scholarships for current SJI students. 

     

 

 SJIAA Alumni Advisory Board consists of a President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Chairpersons for: Awards, Membership, Fundraising, the Reunion and the Newsletter.
