SJI-KC summer session, open to children ages 3 to 10,  features a half-day thematic format July 6th through 24th from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Children receive all the age-appropriate academic instruction including: math, literacy, Learning Centers, language, handwriting, science, and social studies.  In addition, each child will receive 30 minutes of speech and language therapy daily. Each classroom has at least one hearing peer.

All academic, speech, language and listening instruction and even the classroom decorations, reflects the chosen theme.  This immersion into the experience also makes it more fun.

Therapeutic sessions are provided by two licensed speech therapists and the educational component is provided by the five SJI-KC academic staff members, 80% of whom have Master’s degrees.
